CaptiveXS has been available on Raspberry Pi 2 from more than a year now. However, today we are excited to annouce that CaptiveXS is now available on Raspberry Pi 3.
Raspberry Pi 3 is the third generation Raspberry Pi and it has more CPU power, Wi-Fi and bluetooth capability. All this means faster and better user experience with CaptiveXS. Raspberry Pi 3 is more readily available in the market and is better priced so it made absolute sense to have support for it. Some of the kits aviable on Amazon.com can work out of the box with CaptiveXS.
We will continue supporting both Pi 2 as well as Pi 3 and all new updates and features will be available for both the platforms. The software pricing for both Pi 2 and Pi 3 remains the same.
